Trump: US will get everything it wants with Greenland

(Patria) - US President Donald Trump confirmed that the US will get everything it wants with Greenland after reaching a framework agreement earlier this week.

"We will have everything we want. We are having some interesting conversations," Trump told the New York Post, reports Anadolija.

He said that the US could gain sovereignty over land in Greenland by taking ownership of areas where US military bases are located.

Trump softened his tone on acquiring the Danish territory on Thursday after meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Davos, Switzerland.

He announced that they discussed a framework agreement on Greenland that would address his security concerns and counter Russian and Chinese influence.
