(Patria) - US President Donald Trump says there is a possibility he will join the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey on Thursday.
- I think the meeting in Turkey on Thursday between Russia and Ukraine could have good results - Trump said yesterday at an event in the White House, Reuters reported.
Trump, who will be visiting Persian Gulf countries from today until May 16, said he is considering "flying over" to Turkey and joining the negotiations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed continuing direct negotiations with Ukraine without preconditions, which were interrupted in 2022, and that the dialogue begin on May 15 in Istanbul.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to talks in Turkey, but only in person with Putin.
