(Patria) - US President Donald Trump signed an executive order extending the package of anti-Russian sanctions introduced by his predecessor Joe Biden for one year, according to the US Federal Register, TASS reported.
The Biden administration issued Executive Order 14024 on April 15, 2021, imposing sanctions on Russian individuals and entities engaged in cyber activities aimed at undermining elections in the United States and other countries, attempts to harm or kill US citizens, as well as for financial operations.
Russian President's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in March that Russia considers all imposed restrictions illegitimate and expects them to be lifted.
