Trump agreed to talk to the FBI about the assassination attempt

(Patria) - Candidate for US President and former White House resident Donald Trump has agreed to speak with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as part of the investigation into an attempt on his life in Pennsylvania, the FBI announced.

The statement stated that speaking with the victim is part of the usual protocol during an investigation, reports AP.

"We want to get Trump's perspective on what he observed," said FBI agent in charge of the investigation, Kevin Rojek.

Rojek also said that the motive for the attack has not yet been determined, for which twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks is suspected, whose parents are "extremely cooperative" with investigators.

Crooks was killed during the assassination attempt on Trump.
