Trump raised double the campaign funds in the second quarter

A Trump campaign official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not provide further details on the second-quarter fundraising, which was conducted by Trump's Save America Joint Fundraising Committee. But with more than $35 million in reported donations, it far exceeded the $18.8 million the committee raised in the first three months of this year. 90% of the money they raise goes to Trump's campaign, while the other 10% goes to a separate group that helps finance Trump's legal costs.
