But what he writes cannot be shared.

Namely, Twitter has restricted users from sharing President Donald Trump's "tweets" "due to the risk of violence" as hundreds of demonstrators stormed the Capitol on Wednesday to force Congress not to confirm Trump's defeat.

The social network said it would take action against threats and all calls for violence in accordance with its civic integrity policy.

Such "tweets" will not be able to be "retweeted", nor will they be able to be replied to, nor will they be able to be "liked".

Some have also been removed. Among the removed tweets was a video that Trump posted on Wednesday afternoon addressing his supporters. Trump's tweet stating that Vice President Mike Pence lacked the "courage" to do what was necessary was also deleted.
