(Patria) - US President Donald Trump expects to receive Russia's answer on a possible ceasefire in Ukraine as early as this week, TASS reported last night.
"We will hear from them this week, actually very briefly. I think we are close, but we will let you know very soon," the US President told reporters at the White House.
On March 18, US President Donald Trump proposed that the parties to the conflict refrain from striking energy infrastructure for thirty days.
Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to Trump's proposal.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would also support this proposal.
