(Patria) – US President Donald Trump has ordered a halt to financial support from the United States to the World Health Organization.
Trump claims that the infection could have been contained at its source, and many lives saved worldwide if the WHO had better investigated the situation in China as well as the reports coming from that country. He said that this organization supported China's 'misinformation' about the virus, which led to the spread of the infection.
The US President added that the WHO failed to even perform its 'basic duty' and therefore must be held responsible, Euronews reports.
