(Patria) - US President Donald Trump said today that he cannot guarantee that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will hold, just one day before he is set to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that there are "no guarantees" that the ceasefire will remain in effect.
- I saw people who were brutalized. No one has ever seen anything like it. No, I have no guarantees that the peace will hold - Trump stated.
Trump will host Netanyahu tomorrow, marking the first official visit by a foreign leader since he took office last month.
