(Patria) - The wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Begona Gomez, has tested positive for coronavirus. She is with her husband in their official residence in Madrid, according to a statement from the Spanish government.
Spain will place its 47 million inhabitants in partial isolation for 15 days starting Sunday as part of a plan to curb the coronavirus, Prime Minister Sanchez announced on Saturday evening.
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump's test is negative for coronavirus, meaning he is not infected, the White House physician announced.
"I received confirmation that the test is negative," said Sean Conley, the BBC reports.
Trump decided to get tested after meeting with a delegation from Brazil in Florida, given that some participants in the meeting were infected with the virus.
