(Patria) - US President Donald Trump ordered the withdrawal of National Guardsmen in the capital Washington.
- I have ordered the process of withdrawing our National Guard from Washington D.C., everything is perfectly under control now - Trump wrote on Twitter.
Stating that the National Guard will return to their bases, Trump noted that they can return if needed.
Trump had previously engaged members of the National Guard to stop violent protests following the murder of George Floyd.
