Trump after Assad's fall: Russia no longer wants him, the world is waiting!

(Patria) - Donald Trump, the new President of the United States of America, commented on the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, reacting to the latest developments in the Middle East.

On the social network Truth Social, Trump stated that Assad had left the country.

"Assad is gone. He has left his country. His key ally, Russia, under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, was no longer interested in supporting him. They saw no reason to remain present in Syria. Their focus is on Ukraine, where they have suffered enormous losses – nearly 600,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded in a conflict that should never have happened and could last forever. Currently, Russia and Iran are weakened – one due to war and economic crisis, the other due to Israeli military successes," Trump said.

Trump emphasized that Ukraine, led by Zelenskyy, also wants peace.

"Ukraine has unfortunately lost 400,000 soldiers and a large number of civilians. An urgent ceasefire and the start of negotiations are needed. Too many lives have been lost for no reason, and numerous families have been destroyed. If this continues, it could escalate into something even bigger and more dangerous. I know Vladimir very well. Now is his time to act. China can also help. The world is waiting!" Trump stated.
