Trump: Muslims are the biggest victims of terrorism

US President Donald Trump told more than 50 leaders of Muslim and Arab countries at a summit in Riyadh that Muslims are the biggest victims of terrorism, media reported.

- Expel terrorists and extremists from your countries, expel them from your holy sites, from your communities, from your sacred land, and from this world. Muslims have the right to live in peace and security, young people have the right to live in peace and security - Trump said. He was on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he was welcomed with the highest honors.

- I wanted to come to the heart of the Muslim world and visit the nation that guards and cares for the two holiest sites in Islam. We want to strengthen our oldest friendship. I promise that the US will not impose our way of life but only extend a hand of trust. Our vision is peace, security, and prosperity in this region and the entire world. Our goal is a coalition of countries against extremism and ensuring a future for our children - said the US President, who praised today's decision to establish the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideologies.

- We want this day to be remembered as the beginning of peace in the Middle East and the entire world. But, we must defeat the ideology that inspires terrorism. Someone said that 95 percent of the victims of terrorism in the world are Muslims. This is a tragedy of epic proportions - Trump said, among other things, reports NAP.
