(Patria) - US President Donald Trump stated that his current proposal for peace in Ukraine
to end the war against Russia is not his final offer, and his comment comes at a time when Ukraine and Washington's European allies say the peace plan can be the basis for talks, but that "additional work" is needed, Reuters reported.
"The war must end one way or another," he told reporters on Saturday. But he said "no" when asked if this was his final offer.
European and other Western leaders are trying to devise a coordinated response to Trump's demand that Ukraine accept his 28-point peace plan with Russia by Thursday.
