(Patria) - Former US President Donald Trump left the hospital late Saturday after a shooting earlier in the day at his rally in Pennsylvania where he was hit in the right ear, reported Bloomberg.
But the former president was not the only victim, other US media and authorities reported.
An apparent assassination attempt on Donald Trump involved "multiple shots (fired) towards the stage from an elevated position outside the rally venue," the US Secret Service said on Saturday, AFP reported.
"One spectator was killed, two were seriously injured," the agency said in a statement, adding that the shooter was killed, without providing further details.
US Congressman Ronny Jackson said his nephew was shot in the neck, Reuters reported.
"They heard shots and everyone fell to the ground," Jackson, a Republican from Texas, told Fox News.
"He was shot in the neck, the bullet went through his neck, cut his neck and he was bleeding," he added.
