Trump: Thanks to Iran for notifying us of the attack, I will encourage Israel to pursue peace

(Patria) - US President Donald Trump commented on the Iranian attacks on the US base in Qatar on the social network Truth Social.

He described the attack as a "very weak response" that the United States "expected" and "very effectively repelled".

"14 missiles were fired - 13 were shot down, and 1 was 'released' because it was going in an undirected direction", he added.

"I am pleased to report that no Americans were injured and that minimal damage was done."

"The most important thing is that they 'got it out of their system' and, hopefully, there will be no more hatred.

I want to thank Iran for notifying us early (of the attack), which allowed no one to lose their lives and no one to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed with peace and harmony in the region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same", announced US President Donald Trump.
