Trump: EU is very unfair to the US

WASHINGTON, (Patria) - US President Donald Trump threatened to respond to the European Union due to its "very unfair" trade policy towards the United States.

Trump demanded stricter enforcement of trade rules and last week signed a law introducing 30 percent tariffs on imported solar panels.

- I have a lot of problems with the European Union and that could turn into something very big from that point of view, from a trade point of view - he said in an interview with the British television station ITV.

- Our products cannot enter. It is very, very difficult. And yet they send their products to us, without taxes, with very little tax. That is very unfair - Trump emphasized.

- They are not the only ones. I could name many countries and places that do this. But the European Union is very, very unfair to the United States. And I think it will be to their detriment - concluded the US President.
