(Patria) - The White House announced that US President Donald Trump will soon announce a new candidate for NASA administrator.
However, it did not explain why the initial candidate Jared Isaacman is no longer in the running, Reuters reported.
Some media outlets previously reported that the White House would withdraw Isaacman's candidacy.
- It is crucial that the next NASA leader is fully aligned with President Trump's "America First" agenda, and the replacement will be announced soon directly by President Trump - said White House spokesperson Liz Huston.
