Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for US President, wrote on Twitter today that he was "just sarcastic" when he said that current President Barack Obama was the founder of the Islamic State, reports the Patria News Agency.
Trump made that statement at a party rally on Wednesday, and repeated it in two interviews yesterday.
On Twitter, he criticized CNN for reporting his statement "too seriously" and asked the network's journalists if they understood his sarcasm, reports AP.
