Three Minors Randomly Stabbed Passersby with a Knife

Members of the Ministry of Interior arrested three 17-year-olds suspected of stabbing four people with a knife in the center of Belgrade during the night, reports the Patria news agency. The youths were injured in separate attacks in the wider center of Belgrade, the Emergency Service said.

"The police were reported around 2:30 a.m. that a group of youths was attacking passersby and that several people were injured at the corner of Knez Mihailova and Obilićev Venac streets, and Knez Mihailova and Rajićeva streets. Through a quick and efficient operation, the suspects were immediately identified and brought in," the statement said.

The police added that the competent prosecutor was informed about the case and that the suspects will be questioned in the presence of their parents. 
The attacks occurred around three hours after midnight and are believed to be random attacks, said Emergency Service spokeswoman Nada Macura to Beta. 

Near Brankov Most, in Luke Lazarevića Street, a 17-year-old youth was stabbed in the back of the thigh, while a man one year older was stabbed in the lower back. 

Five minutes later, probably the same perpetrator stabbed an 18-year-old youth in the leg on the Plateau near the Faculty of Philosophy, while another youth managed to escape. All the injured were transferred to the Emergency Center for medical treatment, reports B92.
