Three-year cruise on MV Gemini only affordable for the wealthy

(Patria) - If you have always dreamed of hitting the pause button and changing your address for a year, two, or three, Life at Sea Cruises might have the answer you're looking for.

MV Gemini is the name of the "floating home" - a cruise ship that will embark on a world tour on November 1st. So there is still enough time to sort out documents and other travel preparations.

In the three years the journey lasts, passengers will dock in 375 ports, visit 135 countries, and cross all continents.

Those who decide to sail on the journey of a lifetime will see numerous iconic landmarks: from the Christ the Redeemer statue, the pride of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, and India's Taj Mahal, to Mexico's Chichen Itza - the incredible ruins of the ancient Maya, the pyramids of Giza, Machu Picchu, and the Great Wall of China. The cruise also includes a trip to 103 "tropical islands".

Christmas in Brazil, New Year's in Argentina, exploring Caribbean beaches and the Maldives, as well as 13 wonders of the world are just a fraction of the itinerary awaiting those who decide to cruise, writes Punkufer.hr.

The cruise ship that will become passengers' new home has 400 cabins and capacity for 1,074 passengers. In addition to the usual amenities for relaxation, gastronomy, and entertainment, the Gemini is also adapted for business people who will be able to work remotely more easily.

Fourteen offices, meeting rooms, a library, and a lounge for breaks from work will serve those who wish to work on the go, and it is reported that tax benefits will also be available due to "residing on the ship". A hospital will also be available to passengers, operating around the clock.

Passengers will pay about 28,000 euros in annual "rent", and larger cabins or those with balconies cost more.

Passengers must sign up for all three years, but it is also possible to share space with others. For example, friends or couples can take one cabin for the entire journey and then share the trip among themselves.
