Thirteen Arrested in Operational Action 'Fugitive'

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are still conducting the operational action "Fugitive" within which, so far, in the area of Bijeljina, Brčko District, Špionica, Pelagićevo and Orašje, 13 persons have been arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of „Organized Crime“ in connection with the criminal offense of „Unauthorized Production and Placing on the Market of Narcotic Drugs“ from the Criminal Code of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the investigative activities carried out so far in the case codenamed “Fugitive”, SIPA police officers have discovered and temporarily seized 82.76 grams of the narcotic drug „cocaine“ and 27.19 grams of a mixture, as well as 5936.012 grams of the narcotic drug „marijuana“, three grinders, one scale, 170 pieces of cannabis seeds, 105 pieces of tablets, ammunition – 82 pieces, seven hand grenades, two passenger motor vehicles, 21 mobile phones with corresponding SIM cards, a signal jamming device, 1,515 EUR and 1,500 BAM, as well as other items that may serve as evidence in criminal proceedings.

The arrested persons have been taken to official premises, and criminal processing is underway.
