Three shopping malls evacuated in Sarajevo due to bomb threats

(Patria) - After the Sarajevo shopping malls Importanne and Sarajevo City Center (SCC) were evacuated today due to reports of planted explosive devices, the Aria shopping mall also received the same report.

In this case as well, the police evacuated everyone present and are conducting an anti-terrorist sweep (KDZ) to verify the accuracy of the report.

All reports were received via email, writes Faktor.

MUP of Sarajevo Canton spokesperson Mersiha Novalić stated that all three shopping malls received the email at the same time, around 4 AM this morning.

Employees noticed the emails later. The question was when each person opened the email, and after opening it, they notified the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a reminder, yesterday, an anti-terrorist sweep (KDZ) was conducted twice at Sarajevo Airport, the first time after a report of two bombs at the Airport, and the second time a bomb was reported on a plane that arrived in Sarajevo from Memmingen.

Both reports turned out to be false.
