Three new programs for users of the Old Town soup kitchen

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The "Stari Grad" soup kitchen, in cooperation with the Red Crescent in BiH, is launching three new projects intended for the users of this kitchen. The cooperation between these two humanitarian organizations was agreed upon during the visit of the manager of the "Stari Grad" soup kitchen, Zilha Šeta, better known as Tetka Zilha, to the Republic of Turkey, where, as the public is aware, she received the International Charity Award, presented for the fifth time by the Turkish Diyanet Foundation.

On this occasion, a press conference will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the premises of the "Stari Grad" soup kitchen at Halači 6 Street in Baščaršija, starting at 10 AM, where the planned projects will be presented thanks to the good cooperation between these two humanitarian organizations.

These projects include the preparation of special food baskets for the nutrition of kitchen users suffering from diabetes, a project for the distribution of additional food packages for larger families whose household members are users of the kitchen, and a project for the preparation of iftars for 200 fasting individuals, users of this kitchen, during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
