Trebinje: Suspect arrested for murder in Priboj

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), along with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, today arrested Igor Avramović (28) in the Trebinje area, who is accused of aggravated murder in Priboj, SIPA announced.

Based on operational intelligence, SIPA and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska police officers located Avramović in the Trebinje area, after which he was arrested.

Interpol Belgrade had issued an international red notice for him as he is suspected of committing aggravated murder in Priboj on May 21, 2023, and had been hiding from prosecution in the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Avramović was arrested in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) of BiH, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, according to the SIPA statement.
