Detention sought for three suspects in Vitezit sale and purchase case, restraining orders for WDG d.o.o. Vitez employee

(Patria) - The Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of FBiH has sent a proposal to the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Inter-Cantonal Crime of the Supreme Court of FBiH for the determination of detention measures against the suspects deprived of liberty in the operation "Barut", which was carried out under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of FBiH, specifically against:

1. B.H. for the criminal offense under point 1 of the Order for Investigation, stating that they committed the prolonged criminal offense of abuse of office or authority in an attempt, and under points 2 and 3 of the Order for Investigation, the prolonged criminal offense of abuse of office or authority.

2. J.R. and T.Z., under point 3 of the Order for Investigation, stating that they committed the criminal offenses of abuse of office or authority and illegal possession of weapons and explosives in conjunction.

The Prosecutor's Office has filed a proposal for the determination of detention against all suspects, for reasons prescribed by Article 146, Paragraph 1, points b) and c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of FBiH, and against Tomislav Zubak for reasons prescribed by Article 146, Paragraph 1, point A) of the Criminal Procedure Code of FBiH, for a duration of one month.

A proposal for the determination of restraining orders has been sent against suspect N.Ć., which relate to visiting certain places and meeting with certain persons, as stated in the announcement.

We remind you that in this operation, Nikola Ćato, an employee of WDG d.o.o. Vitez, Behrija Huseinbegović, the bankruptcy trustee of PS Vitezit d.o.o. in bankruptcy, Josip Rajić, and Tomislav Zubak, responsible persons in the company WDG d.o.o. Vitez, whose founder is the buyer of Vitezit's assets, were arrested.
