Travnik: Toddler (18 months) falls into deep manhole in front of clinic, rushed to KCUS

(Patria) - An 18-month-old child was injured today when, under circumstances that are the subject of an investigation, it fell into an open, deep manhole in front of the Rudnik clinic in the Travnik neighborhood of Han Bila.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Central Bosnia Canton (SBK) Muamer Karadža confirmed for Faktor that the case was reported to the police in Han Bila by phone at 12:30 p.m.

- The child sustained injuries in the incident and was urgently transferred to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) - said Karadža.

He added that an investigation at the scene, under the supervision of the cantonal prosecutor, was carried out by members of the Criminal Police Department of the Travnik Police Administration.

The determination of all circumstances of this unfortunate event is ongoing.
