SARAJevo, (Patria) - Police searched four locations in Vitez and Travnik and found about five kilograms of speed, and arrested three people, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Central Bosnia Canton.
The arrested individuals are A.Z. (27) and T.B. (18) from Busovača, and J.H. (26) from Vitez.
The individuals were arrested yesterday as part of coordinated activities carried out by police officers from the Criminal Police Sector of the MUP of the Central Bosnia Canton and drug abuse combat teams from the Travnik and Kiseljak police administrations, based on an order from the Municipal Court in Travnik.
In cooperation with the competent Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, legal measures are being taken against the suspects.
The statement indicates that this is the third operation this year that has resulted in the discovery of a larger quantity of drugs.
A total of 22 kilograms of speed were found in the previous two operations.
