(Patria) - An eleven-year-old girl drowned today in the river Bosna, in the Zenica settlement of Kanal.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton confirmed that at 2:20 PM, the Centar Police Station was informed that a female child, eleven years of age, had drowned in the river Bosna in the settlement of Kanal.
Immediately after the report, police officers and divers from the Special Police Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as firefighters and emergency medical services, were dispatched to the scene.
- At 3:35 PM, divers from the Special Police Unit recovered the lifeless body of the girl from the river Bosna - Samir Valić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, confirmed to Faktor.
An investigation will be conducted by police officers from the Criminal Police Department of Police Administration I.
The duty prosecutor has been informed about this unfortunate event.
