Tragedy in Užice: Father and Son Die from Electric Shock in Family Yard

(Patria) – A double tragedy struck Užice today, as a father and son lost their lives due to an electric shock in their family yard.

According to initial information, the accident occurred while the younger man was mowing the lawn. At one point, there was contact with a live cable, which caused a strong electric shock.

The father, attempting to help him, rushed over to separate him but also died from the electricity.

The duty prosecutor visited the scene of the accident, and an investigation is underway. The exact circumstances of this tragedy will be known after the investigation is completed.

This accident once again warns of the dangers of improper handling of electrical installations and the need for extreme caution when working near the electrical grid.
