Tragedy in Serbia: Teenager (15) dies while filming video for social media

(Patria) - In Pionirska Street in Bečej, around one o'clock after midnight last night, a tragedy occurred in which a boy with initials B.T. (15) lost his life.

According to information from the Police Administration in Novi Sad, he was with another boy who ran over B.T. with a car.

The two boys were near a Golf 4 car, which had been left with the key in the ignition.

They decided to unlawfully take the vehicle and use it to record a video for social media. Unfortunately, during that attempt, an accident occurred in which B.T. lost his life.

The other boy, who is not yet 14 years old, fled the scene of the accident but was soon found. Given his age, he is not subject to criminal responsibility.

The competent prosecutor's office and the Center for Social Work have been informed about the entire case, and they will take measures in accordance with the law, while the police will continue to investigate all circumstances of this event.
