Tragedy in Kreševo: Missing member of the Border Police of BiH found dead

(Patria) - An employee of the Border Police of BiH from Kreševo, whose disappearance was reported on Monday around 11 p.m., was found dead yesterday around 1:40 p.m. in the immediate area of Turanj in the municipality of Kreševo.

FROM the MUP of the SBK stated that his disappearance was reported on Monday to the Kreševo Police Station by T. L., born in 1986, residing in Kreševo, stating that her husband M. B., born in 1987, residing in Kreševo, by profession an employee of the GP BiH, left home that day at 7 p.m. in an unknown direction.

According to the report, he took his service weapon with him and has not answered his mobile phone since that moment.

After receiving the report, an intensive search was launched for the said person in the area of the municipality of Kreševo, involving police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of SBK Travnik – members of the JSP and SKP of the MUP, as well as police officers of the PS Kreševo, the civil protection service of the Municipality of Kreševo, and members of the LD "Tetrijeb" Kreševo.

"On Tuesday, June 9, around 1:40 p.m., in the immediate area of Turanj in the municipality of Kreševo, with the assistance of officers of the OSA BiH, the person M. B. from Kreševo was successfully located, while the said person was found by the aforementioned search participants. On the same day at 2:30 p.m., the on-duty coroner of the DZ Kreševo confirmed the death of the person M.B.," stated the cantonal MUP.

Investigation measures and actions, as well as other initial response actions, are being carried out by police officers of the OKP PU Kiseljak, under the supervision of the on-duty prosecutor of the KT Travnik, who authorized them.

The public will be promptly informed about all further measures and actions taken by police officers of the MUP SBK, as well as other law enforcement agencies and partner organizations regarding the said event, the statement said.
