Tragedy in Ilidža: Forklift falls on worker

(Patria) - In the Ilidža area, within a company premises, an accident with fatal consequences occurred yesterday.

According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić, yesterday at 2:50 PM, the Ilidža Police Department was informed by the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service that they received a report of a worker being injured within a company premises when a forklift fell on him.

An emergency medical team was dispatched immediately, and the doctor confirmed the death of the worker identified by initials M.Dž. (born in 1987), N1 reports.

The investigation was led by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, experts also visited the scene, and the body of the deceased was transported to the Bare morgue.
