Tragedy in Ilidža: Child dies in hotel pool

(Patria) - A child has died in a hotel pool in the Ilidža area today, N1 was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić.

"At 3:30 PM, the Ilidža Police Department was informed that a child had died in a hotel pool in the Ilidža area. The death was confirmed at 4:40 PM by a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service Institute," Novalić said.

It is not yet known how the child died. An investigation is currently underway, after which more information will be available.

The investigation is being led by a prosecutor from the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office and is being carried out by members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton police.
