Tragedy near Bugojno: 23-year-old from Donji Vakuf drowned in a lake

(Patria) - A young man (23) from Donji Vakuf drowned yesterday in the Zanesovići lake near Bugojno.

Yesterday around 4:45 PM, the Bugojno Police Station was informed that a male person had drowned in the lake in Zanesovići, municipality of Bugojno.

Immediately after receiving the report, police officers went to the scene, confirmed the report, and proceeded to take measures and actions within their jurisdiction.

A diving team from the Special Support Unit was immediately involved in these activities, and they managed to find and retrieve the lifeless body from the lake.

The deceased is S.A., born in 2000, from Donji Vakuf, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton.

Investigation activities at the scene were carried out by police officers of the Bugojno Police Administration.

In cooperation with the competent Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, other legally prescribed measures and actions are being taken to establish the facts and circumstances related to this event.
