Tragedy near Bosanska Krupa: Mother and son commit suicide

Dušanka Lukač (83) and her son Brane (55) hanged themselves on Tuesday in the attic of their family home in the village of Jasenica, near Bosanska Krupa, reports the Patria News Agency. 

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, without revealing their identities, announced that they received a report of the suicide in the afternoon.

- According to current information, no signs of violence were found at the scene, and at this moment we are ruling out murder. It is most likely a suicide of a mother and son, said Ale Šiljdedić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The bodies of the mother and son were found by their neighbor Milan Vejnović, who immediately notified the police.

 

He says that Brane often said that when his mother died, he would take his own life.
