(Patria) - Two people, whose identities are currently unknown, were fatally injured, and Nihad Aljić (46) from Vukosavlje and a person from Modriča with the initials F.M. (29) were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred last night in Novakovići on the Banja Luka - Laktaši main road.
The District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka announced that the accident happened last night at 9:50 PM, when a Porsche Cayenne veered off the road. The vehicle was driven by the injured Aljić, while F.M. was his passenger.
They received medical assistance and were treated at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.
An on-site investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, Dalibor Vrećo, with members of the Banja Luka Police Station for Road Traffic Safety.
The prosecutor ordered all necessary investigative actions and measures to be taken, as well as expert examinations to determine the circumstances of the traffic accident.
An autopsy of the deceased has also been ordered, which will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the RS.
