TRAGEDY Funeral prayer for Tarik and Inela Selimović held

(Patria) - A funeral prayer was held at the Barice City Cemetery in Puračić for Inela Selimović and her 13-year-old son Tarik, who were killed on Wednesday by their husband and father Emir Selimović, who is still being sought by police.

Just before the funeral prayer, a large number of family members, friends, acquaintances, and citizens gathered in front of the house of the murdered Inela Selimović in Puračić. The tears and sobs of the gathered crowd broke the painful silence, after which they proceeded to the Barice cemetery where the funeral prayer was held and burial took place, writes Bhreporter.ba.

Inela and Emir were in the process of divorce, and as the autopsy report showed, confirmed by the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton, Emir killed his wife and son by strangulation on Wednesday morning, after which he fled.

Police found the Škoda car he fled in after the crime in the area of Prnjavor, and he is still being sought.

The search is focused on Lake Drenovača near Prnjavor, as certain traces were found there, and it is suspected that Selimović committed suicide by jumping into the lake.
