SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The traditional New Year's concert at the National Theatre in Sarajevo marked the New Year's celebration in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina this year as well.
A large number of guests and prominent figures from all walks of life enjoyed the masterful performances of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra.
For many Sarajevans and guests of the city, this was an opportunity to bid farewell to the Old Year and welcome the New Year with favorite melodies from classical literature.
Maestra Nada Matošević Orešković, and conductor and composer Dino Zonić led the orchestra, with soprano Vedrana Šimić, tenor Amir Saračević, and bass Ivan Šarić performing as soloists.
