Tokić: Dodik sent postcards to Karadžić and Mladić from The Hague with messages that they would be arrested

The president of the non-governmental organization "New Bosniak Politics" Sejfudin Tokić commented on Milorad Dodik's testimony at the Hague Tribunal on his Facebook profile, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Milorad Dodik's testimony at the Hague Tribunal, which is still ongoing, represents a rare example of unscrupulous lies that one person can so brazenly present publicly. I know him well and his views on war criminals Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić in the period of 1995 and the first post-war years.

In September 1995, as the coordinator of the Democratic Alternative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I was in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Great Britain with a group of intellectuals and public figures from Bosnia and Herzegovina, where we had a series of discussions with government representatives in those countries.

In numerous meetings and media appearances, Dodik was at the forefront of condemning Karadžić's and Mladić's criminal policies and condemning the numerous war crimes they organized and carried out. There are numerous documents about this; I remember we were guests together on a radio show in The Hague, after which, according to his own statement, he sent a postcard to Karadžić and Mladić at their Belgrade addresses with the sentence:

-"I am in The Hague and I will be home soon, and when you come, you will not return for a long time or ever." It is unbelievable how low a person can fall in the fight for power and the preservation of financial power acquired, as many claim, through crime...

Perhaps the so-called father of the Serbian nation, Dobrica Ćosić, best explained Dodik's lies in The Hague long ago with the words:

"A lie is a form of Serbian patriotism and a confirmation of our innate intelligence..."

"A lie is a Serbian state interest"

"A lie is in the very being of a Serb"

"Serbs have been saved by lies so many times in history"
