Serious accident in Tuzla: One person killed, six injured

(Patria) - In a serious accident that occurred in the morning hours on the southern highway near the main bus station in Tuzla, one person lost their life, while six were injured.

According to the first available information, two passenger cars were involved in the accident. The collision was extremely strong, and witnesses claim the scene was very distressing.

Citizens who happened to be nearby immediately rushed to help the injured until the emergency services arrived.

Members of the Emergency Service, the Professional Firefighting Unit of Tuzla, and officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton arrived at the scene shortly after the collision.

Unfortunately, one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the other injured were transported to the University Clinical Center in Tuzla. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Traffic on this section of the road was temporarily completely stopped due to the accident and diverted to alternative routes.

The police are currently conducting an investigation, and more details about the cause of the accident will be known after the investigation is concluded.
