Serious accident on motorway in RS: Three people killed, two injured

(Patria) - Three people were killed and two injured in a horrific traffic accident that occurred today on the "9 January" motorway.

The injured persons were transported to the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka and are receiving medical attention.

From the Banja Luka Police Administration (PU) they say that the traffic accident occurred at 12:50 PM in the place of Puraći.

The accident on the "9 January" motorway involved a passenger vehicle and a cargo vehicle.

An investigation is underway, led by the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka.

Due to this accident, traffic has been halted on the motorway section in the direction of Banja Luka - Prnjavor.
