Serious collision of three vehicles on A-1 highway, two people transported to KCUS

(Patria) - Two people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred this afternoon near the Vogošća interchange, on the A-1 highway.



This information was confirmed to NAP from the Operational Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS), which clarified that the accident occurred at 4:20 PM.

- Three motor vehicles collided, and two people were transported to the Urgent Medicine Clinic (KUM) of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS) - they briefly told NAP.



BIHAMK also announced that traffic is difficult due to the accident that occurred near the Vogošća interchange on the A-1 highway (direction Butila interchange - Sarajevo North toll station).

Patria's reporter was also at the scene, who says that two passenger cars and a truck collided, and the accident caused huge traffic jams on the A-1 highway.



A traffic jam formed from the Butila interchange. Ambulance vehicles and firefighters were also dispatched to the scene.

Traffic is currently difficult on this section and is being regulated by members of the MUP of KS who are conducting an investigation.

BIHAMK also advises that the end of the working week and the weekend are ahead, so there is increased vehicle traffic on roads throughout BiH, as well as on city roads, and by the end of the day, this is expected to be the case at some border crossings as well.
