Aunt Zilha lost her voice: Qurban meat continues to arrive at the Soup Kitchen

Zilha Šeta, better known as Aunt Zilha, the manager of the Old Town Soup Kitchen, has literally not had a minute of free time in the last two days since the start of Qurban Bayram, writes the Patria News Agency.

Unfortunately, due to the pressure and the large amount of work, Aunt Zilha has also lost her voice, and due to the pain, she could not even speak, briefly saying that she hopes to be able to talk about the results of the Qurban meat collection tomorrow or the day after.

Otherwise, preparations for Qurban Bayram went smoothly, and today, the third day of Qurban Bayram, citizens are still coming to the Soup Kitchen and bringing Qurban meat.

- Believe me, I have such pain that I don't know if I will be able to work next year either - Aunt Zilha emphasized, asking for understanding.

There are large crowds in front of the Soup Kitchen, and besides those who bring their contributions, there is also a large number of those waiting to receive Qurban meat.

On Wednesday, the Kitchen distributed double portions of bread and hot stew to its 1,023 users because the kitchen was closed on the first day of Qurban Bayram. On Friday, the Kitchen resumed work, and in addition to distributing hot meals in the morning, Qurban meat was also distributed in front of the Soup Kitchen premises for the kitchen users between 9 AM and 11 AM.
