Serious traffic accident in Lašva: Two people died, several trapped in vehicles

(Patria) - Two people died in a serious traffic accident that occurred this evening on the M-17 highway in Lašva.

According to the spokesperson for the ZDK Ministry of Interior Police Administration, Samir Valentić, two vehicles collided.

“Unfortunately, I can confirm that two people have died. Emergency medical teams, firefighters, and police are on the scene. There are still people trapped in the vehicles whom we are trying to reach, and we do not know their condition at this time,” Valentić told Faktor.

Traffic has been completely stopped. Kilometers-long queues have been recorded on this section.

Due to the rain falling today, the roads are slippery, so drivers are urged to be cautious.
