Due to a serious traffic accident just before the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina near Neum, traffic on the Adriatic Highway in the town of Bistrina near Ston has been stopped, and at least one person has died, reports the Patria news agency.
Cars are being redirected through the town of Imotica, while buses and trucks must wait.
-From 2:30 PM, due to a traffic accident, traffic on the Adriatic Highway in the town of Bistrina near Ston in the Dubrovnik area has been interrupted. A detour for passenger cars and vans will be via local roads, while there is no detour for trucks and buses. We ask drivers for patience, announced the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK).
As Index learns, the accident involved a motorcycle with Slovak license plates and a passenger car with Czech license plates. The deceased person is the motorcyclist.
