(Patria) - A serious traffic accident occurred this morning on the Adriatic highway in Soline, in the far south of Croatia.
According to Dubrovački dnevnik, two passenger vehicles collided, one with Slovenian and the other with Zagreb license plates, reports Index.hr.
Several people were injured in the accident, and one person died.
Police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene.
Traffic was completely closed for a period, and is currently proceeding in one lane under the regulation of police officers.
An investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident is underway.
