SARAJevo, (Patria) - Three people were killed in a serious traffic accident that occurred early this morning in Lončari, InfoBijeljina confirmed with the police.
The accident occurred at 02:25 AM at the intersection of the main roads Brčko - Lončari and Tuzla - Orašje.
"The accident with fatal consequences occurred in the village of Lončari, municipality of Donji Žabar. Two vehicles were involved in the accident: an 'Audi', driven by S.S. from Brčko, who sustained minor injuries, and a 'Mercedes' van, which carried persons A.D., an unidentified female, and F.B. A.D. and the unidentified female died at the scene," confirmed Aleksandra Marić, spokesperson for the Bijeljina Police Department, for InfoBijeljina.
Marić adds that F.B. sustained life-threatening injuries and died at Brčko hospital.
The duty prosecutor arrived at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
