Serious accident on Rogoj: Emergency services arrived only after an hour, without a doctor or oxygen

Four people were injured last night in the place of Rogoj, about ten kilometers from Trnovo, after the driver of a Golf 5 lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a truck, Patria reports.

Witnesses claim that the drama unfolded only after the accident. It took emergency services more than an hour to arrive from Trnovo to the accident scene. There was no police either. In the meantime, the lives of the injured were saved by other drivers who happened to be on Rogoj.

- We were all in shock, no one could believe that the ambulance and police did not come as soon as we called them - said one of the witnesses of the accident.

- We waited for an hour and a half and called the ambulance from Trnovo, only ten kilometers away. We begged them to come because people were dying. When the ambulance finally arrived, they said they had no doctor, and they also had no oxygen for resuscitation. A driver and a nurse came - he added.

At the accident scene, according to this witness, there was no police either. They arrived only after the injured were taken to the hospital in Foča. The injured are out of life-threatening danger, Patria reports.
