Serious accident near Mrkonjić Grad: Three men from Jajce killed

(Patria) - Three people were killed and four injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the village of Crna Rijeka, municipality of Mrkonjić Grad, the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka announced.

The traffic accident, which occurred last night at 7:43 PM, involved a Mitsubishi passenger vehicle driven by Miroslav Kaurin (34) from Šipovo and a Ford truck.

The deceased were identified by their initials as S.C., E.Č., and S.P., all from Jajce, and the four injured individuals were in the truck with them.

The investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka with police officers from the Mrkonjić Grad Traffic Safety Police Station.

The prosecutor ordered that the necessary investigative measures and actions, as well as expert examinations, be taken to determine the circumstances of the traffic accident, and an autopsy of the bodies of the deceased was also ordered, which will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska.
